![]() The game finally worked and now I can add in a Steam Deck review for this game. Then as of the morning of writing this, I got the notification to update the game on my Steam Deck. I saw there was an update for my Steam Deck, so I installed the update and still didn’t have success. After the game came out, I tried again, thinking maybe it had something to do with a release date, still no success. It would open for a split second and then crash back out to Steam OS. I saw online from people that the demo of this game worked on their Steam Deck, but I couldn’t get my review copy to even start on the Steam Deck. If you’re still in doubt, there is a demo as well to try out. If you like games like BioShock and you have $40, you’ll be right at home. This game is modernized and remade, but it isn’t doing anything particularly new. Second of all, the whole “revolutionary” part of it is missing. This is not something that a modern game has the opportunity to do as easily unless they have tremendous amounts of marketing. So something revolutionary had a chance to get its head above water and be seen and ultimately remembered. First off, there weren’t the same quantity of games back then as there are now. The original had staying power because of a few solid reasons. I’m uncertain if people will remember this game compared to the original though.
